The Renault Kiger shares its platform with the Nissan Magnite.
Renault has finally unveiled the production version of the Kiger in India.
The Kiger is based on the CMF-A+ platform, which is shared with the Nissan Magnite. It measures 3,991 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height and its wheelbase is 2,500 mm. The crossover has a 405-litre boot and a 40-litre fuel tank. The ground clearance is 205 mm.
The Kiger features a V-shaped grille that is typical of modern Renault models. The grille is flanked by slim LED daytime running lights. The triple pod LED headlamps are positioned lower down on the front bumper. The crossover has a coupe-like side profile with wide rear haunches. It gets C-shaped LED tail lights with gloss black inserts and a roof spoiler.
On the inside, the Kiger comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has voice recognition and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car has a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Renault claims that the Kiger offers 222 mm of legroom for rear seat passengers.

The Kiger is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 99 BHP and 160 Nm @ 3,200 rpm. It will also be offered with a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre petrol motor producing 71 BHP and 96 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed CVT (Turbo-Petrol only) and a 5-speed AMT (NA Petrol only).
The Kiger will be offered in 6 colour options – Ice Cool White, Planet Grey, Moonlight Grey, Mahogany Brown, Caspian Blue and a dual-tone shade of Radiant Red with Mystery Black Roof.
