The global unveiling of the Renault Triber has been scheduled for June 19, 2019. The MPV will go on sale in India later this year.
The Renault Triber (codenamed: RBC) is a sub-4 meter MPV that is expected to be based on the CMF-A+ platform. Spy images suggest that the car could get wraparound headlamps with a pronounced grille and a high roof line.
On the inside, the Triber is expected to be offered with a dual-tone dashboard with silver trim, touchscreen infotainment system, 3-spoke steering wheel, an instrument cluster with chrome surrounds and modular third row seats. Renault might offer side airbags on higher variants.
Reports suggest that the Renault Triber could be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Kwid. It is expected to be tuned for a higher output and might be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT.
