According to a media report, the second-generation Maruti Ertiga will be launched on November 21, 2018.
The new Ertiga was launched in the Indonesian market earlier this year. Compared to the outgoing model, the MPV is longer and wider, while its wheelbase remains unchanged. It features a new grille flanked by twin-pod projector headlamps and a new front bumper that houses circular fog lamps. The new model gets L-shaped tail lamp clusters and a new bumper with integrated reflectors.
The new Ertiga comes with dual-tone interiors. The redesigned dashboard houses a touchscreen infotainment screen. It comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-dial instrument cluster.
In India, the new Ertiga is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. It is the same engine that recently debuted on the Ciaz facelift and could be paired to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel is expected to be carried over unchanged.
