According to a media report, Kia is likely to start accepting bookings for the Seltos from July 15, 2019. The car could be launched on August 22 and test drive vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships by early next month.
According to a leaked document, the Seltos is expected to be offered in 3 petrol and 5 diesel variants. It is likely to get LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, an LED light bar, LED fog lamps, a shark fin antenna and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The SUV is expected to come equipped with mood lighting with sound effects, cruise control, an engine start/stop button, rear sunshade, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO Connect features, wireless charging, leather-wrapped steering wheel and reclining rear seats among other features.
The Kia Seltos is expected to be offered with three BS-VI compliant engine options. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or CVT, a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol unit mated to 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions.
