According to a media report, Royal Enfield could launch the Trials 350 and Trials 500 on March 27, 2019. The company has released a teaser video, which indicates that the bikes will be showcased on March 26.
The first leaked images of the Trials 350 and 500 had surfaced online last month. The images suggest that the bikes are expected to be based on the Bullet 350 and 500 respectively and are likely to feature an upswept exhaust, single seat and dual-purpose tyres. The bike gets a telescopic fork suspension with rubber gaiters at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Both bikes are likely to be offered in dual-tone colour schemes with chrome details and 3D Royal Enfield badges on the fuel tank. The circular headlamp with its integrated instruments appears to be carried over unchanged.
The Trials 350 is expected to be powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which produces 19.8 BHP @ 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. The Trials 500 could be offered with the 499cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 27.2 BHP @ 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. Both engines are likely to be paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The braking setup is likely to include disc brakes at the front and rear with dual-channel ABS.
