According to a media report, the Tata H7X could be called Cassini in the Indian market. The name is reportedly derived from the Cassini Huygens spacecraft that was launched to study the planet Saturn.
The H7X, which is the 7-seat version of the Harrier, was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the Buzzard. In Europe, it is likely to retain this name. The SUV uses the same OMEGA platform as the Harrier. It has similar styling as well with a hexagonal grille with slim LED daytime running lights on either side and a dual-tone front bumper that houses the main headlamps and a pair of fog lamps. The H7X has a slightly taller profile at the rear to accommodate the third row of seats and slim wraparound tail lamp clusters.
The interior of the H7X is similar to the Harrier. It has a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and an instrument cluster with a large digital display.
In India, the H7X is likely to be powered by a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 170 BHP, 4-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual and a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox.
