Samsung India’s revenue has soared by 8.6% to Rs 82,451 crores in FY2021-22.
Samsung India has beaten Maruti Suzuki to become the largest customer-facing MNC in India.
According to a media report, Samsung India’s revenue has soared by 8.6% to Rs 82,451 crores in FY2021-22. This enabled the company to regain the top spot as the no.1 consumer-facing MNC, which it had lost to Maruti Suzuki in the previous fiscal.
The mobile phone business accounts for 67% of Samsung’s total turnover. It alone contributed Rs 55,201 crores towards revenue. The company’s home appliance business makes up 12% with a turnover of Rs 9,981 crores.
Despite growth in revenue, Samsung India’s net profit fell by 4.9% to Rs 3,844 crores.
