Tata Motors has released the first teaser image of its upcoming H7X SUV. The 7-seat version of the Harrier is scheduled to be unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
The teaser image reveals an outline of the rear three-quarter of the H7X. It is likely to get flared wheel arches, rear spoiler, roof rails and a shark fin antenna. There also appears to be a kink in the top part of the window line. The 7-seat version will be longer than the Harrier but will have the same wheelbase as the 5-seat version.
Spy images indicate that the front end of the H7X will be similar to the Harrier with minor changes. It could ride on larger 18-inch alloy wheels and is likely to come equipped with footboards.
Media reports suggest that the H7X could be powered by a 170 BHP version of the Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that is offered on the Jeep Compass. Transmission options might include a 6-speed manual and a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic.
