The Nexon facelift is expected to get the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options.
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the updated Nexon in the Indian market later this year. It seems preparations for the launch are in full swing as the car was recently spotted during a TVC shoot.
As you can see from the leaked images from the ad shoot, Tata has made several changes to the Nexon’s exterior design. While the overall shape of the sub-4 meter crossover remains the same, the front and rear facias have been thoroughly revamped.
The front now features a slimmer grille with a floating Tata logo in the centre and a new bumper with triangular pods on either side that house the main headlamp units. At the rear, the Nexon gets a new tailgate, redesigned LED tail lights with an LED light bar and a new bumper with a set of reflectors and reverse lights.
The Nexon will also get an all-new interior with a completely redesigned dashboard housing a 10.25-inch touchscreen in the centre, a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and a digital instrument cluster. Tata has also updated the HVAC module with a new unit that features haptic touch controls.
The Nexon facelift is expected to get the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Tata will continue to offer manual and AMT transmissions. There are also reports of a new dual-clutch automatic being introduced.
