Tata Motors has announced that the Nexon has reached a new production milestone. The 2,00,000th Nexon has been rolled off the assembly line at Tata’s Ranjangaon plant near Pune.
Tata Motors built the 1,50,000th Nexon in November last year and the last 50,000 units have been manufactured in less than 6 months.
The Nexon has been one of the more popular cars in Tata’s model line-up. The crossover has received regular updates and more recently, it was given new 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Media reports suggest that the company is also planning to introduce the Nexon EV Dark Edition, which is inspired by the Harrier Dark Edition. It is likely to be offered in Atlas Black exterior colour with black alloy wheels and an all-black interior.
The Nexon is offered in 20 variants which include 12 petrol and 8 diesel variants with AMT and manual transmission options.
