Tata Motors’ annual sales stood at 3,31,178 units.
Tata Motors has overtaken Hyundai to become the second-largest carmaker in December 2021.
Tata sold 35,299 units last month, registering a growth of 50% compared to December 2020. Hyundai, however, only managed to dispatch 32,312 units.
The homegrown carmaker also recorded strong quarterly sales. Tata sold 99,002 vehicles in Q3 FY2022, a growth of 44% compared to Q3 FY2021.
Tata’s electric vehicle sales stood at 2,255 units in December 2021. During the quarter, the carmaker dispatched 5,592 EVs.
