The Punch is being offered with a digital instrument cluster to counter the Hyundai Exter, which also has this feature.
According to a media report, Tata will soon offer a digital instrument cluster as standard across all variants of the Punch.
Spy images suggest that lower variants of the Punch will be offered with a 4-inch digital screen that displays the speed, fuel gauge, and more, except the tachometer. The Tiago, Tigor and Nexon also get the same instrument console.
The top-spec ‘Creative’ variant of the Punch will continue to be offered with the more advanced semi-digital instrument cluster that was initially introduced in the Harrier and Safari.
The Tata Punch is available in four trims – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. The crossover is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 84 BHP and 113 Nm and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
The Punch is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The iCNG version packs 76 BHP and 97 Nm.
