Autoweek’s Cars in Corktown gets a healthy discussion on this week’s episode of the Autoweek Podcast.
On this episode of the “Autoweek Podcast,” host Rory Carroll joins Mike Pryson, Jimmy Pelizzari, Jake Lingeman, Wesley Wren and Graham Kozak to talk about Mike’s recent trip to Norwalk, Ohio, to experience an NHRA event in person. Mike talks about the access available to fans, what it feels like to see two nitro-burning dragsters launch and the unbelievably low cost of ice cream.
After Pryson wraps up his NHRA thoughts, the gang talks about Autoweek’s recent Cars in Corktown event. The event celebrated, well, cars, as a group of die-hard enthusiasts joined the Autoweek staff to watch the start of this year’s running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the Corktown area of Detroit. This first event of the season might be the biggest of Autoweek’s Cars in Corktown series so far, despite light rains early in the morning.
Closing the show, the group talks about two prominent sports cars that have run through the fleet: the BMW M4 CS and the Ferrari 488 Pista.
