The Trident 660 was launched in April this year at a price of Rs. 6.95 lakh.
Triumph has started deliveries of the Trident 660 almost 2 months since it was launched in India. The bike is priced at Rs. 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Trident 660 is a stylish roadster that is based on a new tubular steel chassis. The bike is powered by a 660cc, inline 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 80 BHP @ 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm @ 6,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip / assist clutch.
The Trident 660 rides on upside down Showa forks at the front and has an adjustable Showa monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin 310 mm disc brakes at the front and a single 255mm disc at the rear.
The bike is equipped with a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride-by-wire, and switch cube GoPro control. It has two riding modes – Road and Rain, and switchable traction control which is integrated into the riding modes.
