Triumph has launched the 2020 Rocket 3R in India priced at Rs. 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Rocket 3R comes with twin circular headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights and a short fairing on top. It has a twin seat, which can be changed to a single seat setup. The bike has roadster style handlebars with bar-end mirrors. It rides on lightweight aluminium alloy wheels with a 240 mm wide rear wheel.
The Triumph Rocket 3R is powered by a new 2,500cc, 3-cylinder engine that produces 165 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The new engine makes 11% more power than its predecessor. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike comes with four riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport and a Rider-configurable riding mode. Other features include Hill-Hold Assist, digital instrument cluster and cruise control.
The Rocket 3R rides on 47 mm upside down forks at the front and has a Showa monoshock at the rear. It comes equipped with dual 320 mm disc brakes and a single 300 mm disc with 4-piston calipers at the front and rear respectively. It also has Cornering ABS.
The Triumph Rocket 3R is available in two colour options – Korosi Red and Phantom Black.
