The updated Maruti Alto 800 has been spotted at a dealer stockyard. The new model comes with refreshed exteriors and interiors as well as added safety features.
According to the spy image, the new Alto 800 gets a revised front bumper with a trapezoidal air dam and a redesigned black grille. The car comes with dual-tone interiors and gets the same dashboard and 3-spoke steering wheel from the Alto K10. The centre console houses a 2-DIN audio system.
The new Alto 800 is expected to be offered with the same 796cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 47 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm of torque @ 3,500 rpm. It is likely to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Also, as per new safety regulations, the Alto 800 will be offered with ABS, driver side airbag, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and front seat belt reminders as standard.
