Volkswagen has just announced pricing for its (almost) full lineup of 2021 model year vehicles, with most now getting the MIB3 infotainment system featuring wireless App-Connect, better voice recognition, and USB-C charging. Yes, the Arteon is missing from this list of prices.
VW starts with the Atlas, which from $31,555 is just $10 more than last year. Other trims see a bit more of a climb, with the SE up $210. Price changes are similarly small across the board with the 2021.5 Atlas SEL Premium actually a few dollars cheaper at $49,025.
Atlas Cross Sport starts from $30,066 for the base front-drive four-cyl model and goes as high as $50,025 for the top-spec SEL Premium R-Line VR6. We’ll give credit to Volkswagen here for making the more stylish model cheaper, at least for much of the lineup.
For 2021, the Golf and Golf GTI both continue, with the standard car in just one trim and the GTI in S, SE, and Autobahn. The standard Golf MSRP is unchanged at $23,195, and the GTI climbs $100 to start at $28,695.
The 2021 Jetta starts from $18,995 the same price as last year, though an SEL Premium is slightly higher at $28,045, an increase of $100. The GLI also climbs $100 to 26,345.
Passat this year, in S, SE, and R-Line trims, starts from $23,995. That’s $1,000 more than last year for S, and the SE and R-Line have similar price hikes.
Finally, the Tiguan starts 2021 at $25,245, up $300 from last year. Its top spec, though, SEL Premium R-Line, is down slightly to $39,095.
Destination for Golf, Jetta, and Passat is $995, with the crossovers $1,195 extra. 2021 Arteon pricing isn’t quite ready yet.
