Alfa Romeo Sauber have announced the extension of their promotional partnership with Interroll.
The collaboration began in 2012 with the goal of improving the team’s logistical processes.
The logistics of Formula One are a key element for every team to get right, due to the sheer complexity of their travel and movement of goods across the globe just to be able to make it onto the grid.
Speaking via connectingindustry, Sauber team principal Frederic Vasseur said: “We are happy to be extending our longstanding partnership with Interroll.
“Building on our collaboration that has been successfully in place since 2012, we will continue optimizing our logistical processes which are an important key to success in Formula 1.
“We look forward to making further progress together.”
“Interroll is pleased to continue the successful partnership with the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team,” added Jens Karolyi, Interroll’s senior vice president of corporate marketing and culture.
“Beyond sports, Sauber once again sets new standards in engineering.”
Sauber will now look to continue developing on the track as they aim to build on their P8 finish in the 2018 Constructors’ Championship.
They will enter 2019 armed with a new driver line-up, as Kimi Raikkonen returns to the team where his Formula One career began.
He will be partnered by Italian Antonio Giovinazzi who was finally able to land a full-time drive with the Swiss team for the upcoming season.
