Red Bull Racing unveiled its RB15 car for the 2019 Formula 1 season in a striking red and black test livery, following the team's recent tradition of running in changed colors during preseason testing.
Revealed before completing its filming day at Silverstone, Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly will surely be hoping that the RB15 is as good as it looks when it hits the track for preseason testing in Spain on Feb. 18. The first entry since joining forces with Honda has drawn plenty of attention with some believing that Honda will come good after struggling with both McLaren and Toro Rosso in the past few years while others believe that the linkup is a complete misstep from Red Bull.
Only time will tell as to whether the move away from Renault power, which had reliability problems over the same period, is a good one or not.
“I just try to get the best out of myself but the goals, you have to wait and see what the engine and the car is going to do,” said Verstappen. “I guess up until Australia anyway, you can’t really set goals because it’s a bit blind. In Formula 1, it’s so related to the package you get.”
