The World Endurance Championship and IMSA will return to Sebring, Florida, March 18-21.
The racing at Super Sebring weekend will start one day earlier this year.
Race activities at the IMSA/World Endurance Championship, slated for March 18-21, will now include the Michelin Pilot Challenge Alan Jay Automotive Network 120 on Thursday, March 19.
The other big change to the schedule for 2020 is the WEC’s 1000 Miles of Sebring on Friday, March 20, will take the green flag at noon—four hours earlier than the 2019 start.
The provisional schedule for the race weekend was announced by IMSA and the WEC in a press release.
IMSA’s 68th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Advance Auto Parts is set for Saturday, March 21. The endurance race begins at 10:40 a.m. EDT.
Gates for the second edition of Super Sebring open on Wednesday, March 18 at 6 a.m., with on-track action beginning at 8:55 a.m. Thursday’s schedule now features the IMSA Prototype Challenge and Michelin Pilot Challenge races, FIA WEC qualifying and WeatherTech Championship night practice. Friday morning will feature WeatherTech practice and qualifying before the FIA WEC race.
