The FIA have published the final entry list for the 2019 World Championship, with Alfa Romeo fully replacing the Sauber name.
The original submission for the entry list was the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team with Sauber also picked as the chassis name.
However, Alfa Romeo have been successful in their request to take over not just the team name, but the chassis name as well.
The confirmation now sees Alfa Romeo Racing officially competing as a fully-fledged Formula 1 team for the first time since 1985.

Elsewhere, Racing Point is to be known as…Racing Point. The name was initially supposed to be a placeholder after a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll took over from Force India.
But the team have been unable to find a suitable name replacement ahead of the new season.
Formula 1’s new and returning faces have also all selected their race numbers for the upcoming campaign.
Robert Kubica has picked 88, while Antonio Giovinazzi has chosen 99. Let’s hope that does not equal the amount of problems he has.
