This Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Race Car's Pop Art Livery Is Amazing

The annual Roar Before the Rolex Daytona 24 Hour test weekend is nearly upon us, with more and more teams revealing their new cars. Lamborghini Squadra Corse just dropped a bunch of pictures on Facebook showing off the GEAR/Grasser Racing team livery for the event, and we’re huge fans.

GEAR Racing, which stands for Girls Empowerment Around Racing, teamed up with Grasser for the 2020 season to field the #19 Huracan GT3, set to race in the IMSA Championship’s GTD division. For the test, their car will sport this wonderfully colorful pop art-style livery. It was designed by motorsport artist Andy Blackmore, who you might know as the designer for all of your favorite racing spotter’s guides.

The #19 car will be driven by the all-female team of Katherine Legge, Christina Nielsen, Tatiana Calderon, and Rahel Frey. Racer.com reports the livery will change by the time the actual Daytona 24-hour race weekend starts, so if you were looking forward to watching this car bless the field with its wide array of bright shades, we’re sorry to disappoint. The report also says the #19’s livery will change every three to four races, meaning there could be even cooler Blackmore-crafted designs in store. We’ll just have to wait and see.
