VIDEO: 2019 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro

Whilst Malaysia no longer has an official distributor after the demise of Moto Varese earlier this year, we still get a look at the 2019 MV Agusta Burtale 1000 Serie Oro. With an engine closely based on the World Superbike Championship MV Agusta F4 RC race bike, the Serie Oro takes the mill and puts it in a naked sports chassis.

While MV Agusta has had its financial trials and tribulations over the past year, it cannot be denied it makes some beautiful motorcycle, with its company tagline being “motorcycle art.” Touted as being the most powerful naked sports, MV Agusta has not released any official numbers for the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro.

However, we would hazard a guess at something close to 200 hp, based onthe 212 hp power output of the road-going F4 RC superbike. The current Brutale range consists of three-cylinder 800 cc machines, making the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro the come back of MV Agusta’s four-cylinder nakeds.

From the video, it can be see the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro is up-to-date in design with the full-colour TFT-LCD screen and LED lighting all-round. something we’ve seen used to good effect in the MV Agusta Stradale 800 and Brutale 800 bikes we’ve had on review. It remains to be seen if the famed brand from Varese, Italy will make a comeback to Malaysian shores, with the last news being that MV Agusta was in discussions with a new distributor.
