Domestic Donuts of Formula Drift

Because it originated in Japan, it’s easy to overlook how American the sport of drifting has become. Though many drivers use imported chassis as their weapons of choice (most commonly a variation the almighty 240sx), they are commonly powered by the 21st centu’r y’s champion of power: the LS V8. On the flip-side of the coin, many drivers turn to Detroit for their drift builds in the form of Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, and most recently Cadillacs. These modern versions of yesteryear’s icons have become more than proficient at swinging their tails and tapping walls around the country as formidable tire slayers.
