With the in-depth comparison review of the Proton X70 out of the way, it’s time we shift our attention to Perodua’s first ever SUV, the Aruz. For this shootout, we pitted the top-spec Aruz 1.5 Advance against the Honda BR-V 1.5V and Toyota Sienta 1.5V to see how they fare in the budget friendly market.
Of course, they’re not all like for like – the Aruz is a body-on-frame SUV, the BR-V is built based on a compact car, and the Sienta is practically a compact MPV. That said, all three cars feature a 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and are designed specifically to ferry seven, driver included.
If you’re looking to buy a family-friendly car around RM100k and below, this is the definite video review you won’t want to miss out. The next Driven episode, powered by the all-new Petronas Primax 95 with Pro-Drive, airs this Friday. Stay tuned, folks! 😉
