MegaRexx MegaBronc: A Huge 2021 Ford F-250 with a Bronco Front End

From the makers of the MegaRaptor comes the MegaBronc, a super-sized Super Duty/Bronco mashup infused with people-carrying capabilities, beefed-up components, and a larger-than-life composure all bundled together and sealed with a supercar price tag of $199,000. Why did Castle Hayne, North Carolina-based MegaRexx Trucks design and create the MegaBronc? “Because life is too short to drive a boring truck!” Mic drop.

MegaRexx’s MegaBronc is based on a 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat powered by the venerable 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel engine that makes 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. That sure beats the relatively tiny Ford Bronco’s 2.3-liter I-4 or 2.7-liter V-6 options.

Making the F-Series pickup truck look more like a 2021 Ford Bronco SUV in front was no small task, necessitating custom fiberglass front fenders and hood. The custom grille integrates Bronco LED headlights and signal lights, capped off by a custom front bumper with an obligatory 20-inch LED light bar for optimal night vision. The project is coated in a modern Lithium Gray. Does the Super Duty look comfortable with its Bronco front end, or would it be shocked and disappointed to see itself in a mirror?

The F-250 Crew Cab MegaBronc is suspended by a modest lift (Icon 4.5-inch progressive front coil spring, 5.0-inch multi-leaf rear springs), custom MegaRexx radius arms, King reservoir shocks, and additional Icon components (dual steering stabilizers and adjustable track bars).

You can Sasquatch a Ford Bronco to get 35s; too bad you can’t “MegaBronc it” to get 40s. The MegaBronc doesn’t ride on 46s like the MegaRaptor, but c’mon, the 40s it has are massive, and making such a large tire clear everything and look natural takes a considerable amount of work. The MegaBronc sits on satin black 20×12 MR605 Method Race Wheels wrapped in 40×14.5 Atturo Trail Blade M/T mud-terrain tires. The huge tires and resulting wider fenders make the whole thing 8.0 inches wider than stock. You can clearly see that the front fenders and bedsides are considerably wider and chunkily attach to the cab, a style that may grow on ya.

The MegaBronc seats seven. Wait—that’s unusual for pickup trucks, right? Yes, but the truck gets a power-folding third row of seats in the bed, positioned between a steel safety cage. (Can you legally sit in these seats while driving? Who knows!) The seats and cage fit under the removable fiberglass hardtop (shell). We’re guessing the top needs to be off for passengers to occupy that rear bench. The second row has bucket seats that match the driver and passenger seats. All are adorned in Ebony Black micro-perforated leather.

Do you dig the MegaBronc? Or does the mashup leave you unable to make eye contact with its Bronco lamps?
