Perodua offers customers a chance to drive on Sepang with RM20 fee in conjunction with K Car Global race

The kei car is a vehicle category in Japan that allows owners in the country to enjoy tax and insurance benefits, with regulations that limit vehicles to a certain size (3.4 metres long, 1.48 metres wide and two metres tall), engine displacement and power output.

However, that hasn’t stopped enthusiasts from racing these pint-sized machines, and every two years, owners and racing teams from across the world gather at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) for a 24-hour endurance race known as K Car Global.

The racing event returns this year to Malaysia, and is set to take place this weekend, so if you’re interested to watch some kei car racing, head on over to SIC. Better yet, national carmaker Perodua, as the event supporter, is giving its customers the chance to take their cars on track with a small fee of just RM20!

Alternatively, if you’re part of the UFirst Perodua Passport programme, the entry fee is reduced to RM10 with a redemption of 1,000 UKoin (UFirst Points). You can also choose to enter by redeeming 10,000 UKoin, whereby you won’t need to pay in cash at all.

However, you’ll need to hurry as the registration process will be closed on Friday (November 15) at 3pm. Additionally, the track session is limited to just 100 participants, and admissibility is on the first come, first served basis. For more information on how to participate and the terms and conditions, head on over to the UFirst page, here.

The K Car Global event takes place on November 16, 2019 at 8am at the Sepang International Circuit, with the official 24-hour race set to begin at 12pm following practice sessions in the morning.
