The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Pricing Released, Worth It If You Can Afford It

Pull out the laptop or grab a seat at the computer, because the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 configurator is up and running. As such, U.S. customers can now virtually build and order their new 911 GT3 arriving in Porsche showrooms this fall. They also can now see how much the latest high-performance, track-ready 911 to join Porsche’s storied line of GT3 models will cost.

Promising even better throttle response than the 991-generation GT3 from an improved naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, it’s tough to turn down the 992-generation 911 GT3. This focused apex predator’s unmuffled six redlines at 9,000 rpm and generates an impressive 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque. That is, it’s tough to turn down unless you can’t swing its $162,450 price of entry. Head over to the configurator on Porsche’s website to see how you can balloon that figure to more than your home’s value.

Is the GT3 the priciest 2022 911? No, it is not—the 2022 911 Turbo and Turbo S coupe and cabriolet models are priced from $175,650 and run all the way up to $221,150. An entry-level 911 Carrera is more affordable, at $102,550. As a reminder to all of us who appreciate a stick-shift, the 992-series GT3 is one of the few modern high-performance, naturally aspirated sports cars with an available six-speed manual transmission. What’s more, it has officially become a two-seater thanks to the deletion of the rear seats. Sorry, third-wheel guests, there is only room for two in this precious 911.

About Those Other 2022 Porsche 911s …

While we are talking Porsche 911, the entire 2022 model lineup is getting additional connected services. The sports car’s 10.9-inch touchscreen features the latest generation of Porsche Communication Management (PCM), which includes navigation, comfort, and entertainment systems. Along with personalization, the updated interface offers a flexible layout and is more user-friendly.

A three-year subscription to Porsche Connect featuring the voice-activated “Hey Porsche” virtual assistant will come standard, as will wired and wireless Apple CarPlay. The PCM system also supports direct integration of Apple Music and Apple Podcasts. And in a first for Porsche, Android Auto—compatible with non-Apple phones—is now available.

Additionally, remote park assist is optional for the 911 Carrera, Targa, and Turbo models equipped with Porsche’s PDK seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. This feature allows users to pull their Porsche in or out of parking spaces remotely by using a smartphone. Active parking support with the new 3D surround view, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist also come bundled with this option.
