This Could Be the Cleanest, Newest, Most Original S2000 On the Planet

Remember that 988-mile Honda S2000 that sold on Bring a Trailer for $48,000 in November? Well, it looks like there’s an even more extreme low mileage S2000 on the block. This one has an impossibly low 91 miles on the odometer. The original window sticker is still in place, and the car’s never been titled. It might be the cleanest, newest, most original example on earth.

The car is being sold by IndyCar driver Graham Rahal, the same person who purchased the first S2000 listed above. It’s a 2009 model, the final year of production. Because it was built so recently, it still has the factory warranty until April of this year, which is pretty crazy to think about.

As you’d expect from any car with 91 miles on the clock, this S2000 looks basically brand-new. The black paint shines brightly, the interior leather is plush, and all of the trim pieces are free of discoloration. The Digital gauge cluster works perfectly, as does the power-folding soft top. The underside is clean enough to eat off. The 237-horsepower 2.2-liter F22C inline-four is said to work normally, sending power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Even the Bridgestone Potenza tires are original. This thing is truly a decade-old time capsule.

The car is currently up for bidding on Bring a Trailer with six days remaining. Bidding has reached $50,000 at the time of this writing, which is already more than the red 988-mile car sold for in November. Considering just how original this thing is, we wouldn’t be surprised if the price climbs even higher.
