Will we see less than $140 per mile this year?

The most affordable all-electric models – in terms of price (MSRP + destination charge) per mile of EPA range – are available for less than $150/mile.

Assuming that Tesla still offers the Tesla Model 3 Long Range (RWD) for $44,500 (it’s delisted from the design studio together with the $35,000 Model 3 Standard), the lowest factor is $141 per mile.

The second best is the Hyundai Kona Electric, which even after a small price increase is at $147 per mile.

The new Kia Niro EV stands at $165 per mile followed by the Nissan LEAF e+ ($166).

Thanks to the most recent improvement, Tesla Model S moved from $257 per mile, to $241 per mile.
