2019 Audi Q3 With Standard AWD Starts at $35,695

As we found out in our First Drive, the 2019 Audi Q3 makes substantial improvements over the first generation. Not only does it get a more spacious cabin better suited to American tastes, it also features more power, a redesigned suspension, fresh exterior and infotainment setup, and standard all-wheel drive. Today, Audi has revealed that its new compact crossover will start at $35,695.

That’s a very competitive starting price compared to the 2019 BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA. The BMW X1 starts at $35,945, and that’s when paired with front-wheel drive. With all-wheel drive, the price jumps to $37,945. The Mercedes GLA starts at $34,945 with front-wheel drive but $36,945 with all-wheel drive.

Standard features on the Q3 include LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch wheels, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 8.8-inch central touchscreen, leather seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The driver’s seat is heated and includes eight-way power controls with four-way power lumbar. Upgrade to the Premium Plus trim, and the price is $38,795.

S Line models feature special front and rear bumpers, side sills, and badging, along with standard 19-inch wheels. These models start at $36,995, with Premium Plus trims going for $40,095, and Prestige models priced starting at $43,895.

A number of interior upgrades are available, including a host of Alcantara, natural wood, and other inlays. Buyers can also opt for a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen, or Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with 15 speakers.

Audi will display the 2019 Q3 at the New York auto show this week.
