Datsun Redi-Go facelift leaked; variant details out

Earlier this week, Datsun released a set of teaser images of the Redi-Go facelift. Now, new leaked images have surfaced online that reveal the car in more detail. It is likely to be offered in four variants – D, A, T and T (O) and bookings are expected to open on May 15, 2020.

According to the leaked images, the Redi-Go facelift comes with an octagonal grille with chrome trim on the sides and lower edge. The front bumper has large L-shaped LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps. It has sleeker looking smoked headlights. At the rear, the car gets new LED tail lights and a roof spoiler. The car also has dual-tone wheel covers.

On the inside, the new Redi-GO gets Gun Metallic Gray trim on the dashboard and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as features such as Bluetooth and voice recognition. The car also comes with a 2-tone instrument cluster, internally adjustable ORVMs, rear view camera and dual front airbags.

The Datsun Redi-Go facelift is expected to be offered with BS6 compliant 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol engines. It is expected to get 5-speed AMT and 5-speed manual transmission option.
