F1 Dutch Grand Prix Promoter Floats Idea of Midweek Formula 1 Racing

One way Formula 1 could save its season, or at least a season approaching the 15-18 races that F1 chief executive officer Chase Carey targets, may be midweek races.

So says Jan Lammers, former racer and the chief promoter of the postponed Dutch GP at Zandvoort, Netherlands. With nine of the 22 scheduled Grands Prix postponed or canceled (Australia and Monaco are off) so far, F1 is scrambling to put together an alternative schedule for the second half of the year.
