Gran Turismo Sport Adds VR6-Powered Audi TT and Porsche 962 C

Audi fans looking to relive the halcyon days of the TT will be well served by Gran Turismo Sport, which has just added 2003 Audi TT Coupe 3.2 Quattro to its lineup.

Along with the early TT, the game has also added the 1988 Porsche 962C, the 1966 Renault R8 Gordini, 1983 Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AE86), and the 2014 Honda Fit Hybrid.

Along with the new cars, Gran Turismo has also added a few online race series and some new backgrounds to take pictures of your car on, if you’re into that.

For those who are more interested in the cars, though, the TT is the VR6 version that made about 250 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque.

The 962 C, meanwhile, is pictured in its famous Rothmans livery, albeit the tobacco-free “Racing” version—too bad they didn’t have a vape brand to advertise.

The car itself, though, was a powerhouse in the ‘80s, winning endurance races in IMSA, at Le Mans, and around the world.

The AE86, meanwhile, was immortalized in the anime series Initial D and remains popular among tuners thanks to its humble origins and its driven rear wheels.

Renault Sport, meanwhile, draws its roots back to the R8 Gordini. Based on the humble R8, the Gordini had upgraded Weber carbs, new brakes, suspension, steering equipment, new cylinder heads, and up to twice as much hp as the base model.

The Honda Fit is a hybrid. All are available to play immediately.
