Honda introduces Antivirus Cabin Air filter for its cars

The Active Cabin Air filter is available as a genuine accessory, as an alternative to the standard pollen filter.

Honda is now offering an Antivirus Cabin Air filter for its cars.

Honda’s Antivirus Cabin Air filter has been developed in collaboration with Freudenberg – a global technology group. It is said to provide active protection by reducing the concentration of viral aerosols.

The air filter is made up of multiple layers that capture harmful environmental gases as well as inorganic and biological particles and aerosols. The first microfiber layer is said to inactivate allergens and bacteria, while other layers capture most of the viruses, ultra-fine aerosols, dust and pollen. The activated carbon layer absorbs harmful acidic gases, PM2.5 and particulate matter.

The Active Cabin Air filter is available as a genuine accessory, as an alternative to the standard pollen filter.
