Kawasaki Ninja 400 India launch on June 24

The Ninja 400 will compete with the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310 and the upcoming BMW G 310 RR.

Kawasaki is set to launch the Ninja 400 in India. The bikemaker will announce the prices later today.

The Ninja 400 is returning to the Indian market after being discontinued following the rollout of BS6 emission norms. The new bike will be powered by a BS6 compliant 399cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 44 BHP and 37 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission via a slipper clutch.

The styling of the Ninja 400 remains the same, with a sharp front end featuring twin headlamps and a single-can side-slung exhaust.

The Ninja 400 is expected to be offered in limited numbers and will compete with the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310 and the upcoming BMW G 310 RR.
