Mahindra XUV300 Diesel variants recalled

The intercooler hose on the XUV300 diesel MT and AT variants is said to develop cracks over a period of time.

Mahindra is believed to have issued a silent recall for the XUV300 BS6 diesel for a defective intercooler hose replacement.

The intercooler hose on the XUV300 diesel MT and AT variants is said to develop cracks over a period of time. The exact number of cars that have been affected by this issue is not known. However, Mahindra has requested owners to get their vehicles checked at their nearest dealerships.

The XUV300 is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 115 BHP and 300 Nm. The crossover is also offered with a 1.2-litre petrol motor that puts out 109 BHP and 200 Nm.

Meanwhile, there have been reports of a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that is likely to be introduced in the XUV300. This engine produces 128 BHP and 230 Nm and could be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission.
