The new-generation 2019 Honda Civic is all set to go on sale in India in the coming weeks, and the carmaker has revealed almost everything about the upcoming model. Globally, in its 10th generation, the new India-spec Honda Civic will come in both petrol and diesel engine options, available with automatic and manual transmissions respectively. Honda Civic Exterior Features:

The new Honda Civic is based on a new, advanced platform that has aided in creating its sporty silhouette, bold character lines and an aggressive stance. This is further enhanced by the features like LED headlamps, a new piano black upper fascia wing, restyled lower fascia, bumper and lower grille, a full-width front splitter, and chrome side pod accents. The new Civic also comes with a set of dual tone 5-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, sleek ORVMs and a shark-fin antenna. The rear section comes with a pair stylish C-shaped LED taillamps, with a well-sculpted boot-lid that comes with all the badging intact. The rear bumper comes with some subtle character lines with black styling elements that house the reflectors.

Honda Civic Interior Features:

The cabin of the new Honda Civic is claimed to be spacious, smart and well-equipped. The interior will feature premium soft-touch material instrument panel, front door sash and door inserts and the larger, more thickly padded centre armrest. The features list will include – a fully-digital 7-inch TFT display for the instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen display for the new advanced infotainment system. The car will also come with premium ivory leather seats with an 8-way power adjustable function for the driver’s seat, dual zone automatic climate control, smart entry, and engine start-stop button. The new Civic will also come, for the first time, with a remote engine starter.

The new-gen Honda Civic will be launched in India towards the end of February or early March 2019, and upon its launch, the car will go up against the likes of Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Elantra, and Volkswagen Jetta.
