NHRA Pro Stock Champ Bo Butner Offers Hauler for Coronavirus Relief Efforts

NHRA Mello Yello Series 2017 Pro Stock champion Bo Butner sat in front of his television Sunday evening, watching FOX Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America.

He was enjoying the performances by Elton John, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Sam Smith, Backstreet Boys and others as they saluted—in John’s words—“all those doctors, nurses and scientists on the frontlines” of the fight against coronavirus.

John said, “They’re living proof that most superheroes don’t wear capes.”

Sometimes they might even wear firesuits. And to that, Butner posted to his social media on Sunday that he is volunteering his race car hauler for any mission of mercy during this shutdown of sporting events across America.

Butner posted on his social media outlets, “We sit here tonight watching the iheartradio concert on FOX. I can’t help but think there is something more we should be doing to fight the COVID-19 virus. If anyone knows of an organization that needs help, we are more than willing. We have two semitrucks and a few of us that could help take goods or whatever might need done.”

Moreover, Butner extended the offer to include his racing colleagues.

“We also have a bunch of racing friends with semis they won’t be using for the next 70 days or so!” he said. “Therefore, if anyone knows of a way we can help or an organization you can hook us up with, please reach out to me!”

Butner can be reached through social media outlets or at Jim Butner Auto Dealership in Clarksville, Indiana.
