Scoop! LDV D90 – rebadged MG Gloster spied in India

LDV is part of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and the D90 is a rebadged version of the MG Gloster.

2 years ago, MG launched the Gloster SUV in the Indian market. Numerous test mules were spotted leading up to its launch. Initially, the Maxus D90 was put on road trial duties. It seems MG is also using the LDV D90 for testing purposes in India.

MG launched the updated Gloster in August this year. The SUV now comes with redesigned 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and other minor updates.

The Gloster is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which comes in two states of tune – a single turbo version with 161 BHP and 375 Nm and a twin-turbo unit that puts out 215 BHP and 480 Nm. The latter comes with a shift-on-fly 4WD system. An 8-speed automatic transmission is offered as standard across both engine tunes.
