Skoda’s dealer network has grown by almost 15% with the launch of the Kushaq.
Skoda has announced a plan to expand its dealer network in the coming years. The carmaker plans to have more than 225 touchpoints across India by the end of 2022.
According to the company, its dealer network has grown by almost 15% with the launch of the Kushaq. The brand plans to be present in more than 100 cities by August 2021, taking its total tally of sales and service facilities to over 170.
By the end of next month, Skoda will have its presence in Sangli, Bhilwara, Faridabad, Panchkula, Navsari, Vapi and Hardoi, among others cities. At present, the brand has a presence in more than 90 tier II-III cities such as Patiala, Sirsa, Ghaziabad, Alwar, Aligarh, Siliguri, Bhavnagar, Satara, Ahmednagar, Belgaum, Shimoga, Kannur, Alleppy, Dindigul, Karur, Nellore and Bhimavaram among others.
The Skoda Kushaq was launched exactly a month ago. The crossover is based on the MQB A0-IN platform and is part of the brand’s India 2.0 project. The carmaker claims to have received more than 200 applications from interested parties to set up dealerships post its launch.
