SsangYong Tivoli facelift with a Mahindra engine unveiled

SsangYong has unveiled the Tivoli facelift, which is powered by Mahindra’s 1.2-litre mStallion petrol engine.

The updated Tivoli gets a revised front end with new headlamps that have integrated LED daytime running lights and a dual-tone bumper, which houses vertically stacked triple LED fog lamps. On the inside, the SUV gets an upgraded 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Powering the Tivoli is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. It produces 126 BHP and 230 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The mStallion engine features a dual-mass flywheel and a single belt drive for all ancillaries. The engine has a short-skirt crankcase and a resonator on the turbocharger. It also has a plastic cam cover and intake manifold.

In the international market, the Tivoli is also available with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 161 BHP and 280 Nm and a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder diesel that makes 134 BHP and 324 Nm.
