Alfa Romeo launches its F1 car for 2019

Alfa Romeo launch its first Formula One 1 after teasing fans with a special Valentine’s Day livery last week.

Formerly known as Sauber, Alfa Romeo launched their 2019 car, the C38, in the pitlane ahead of the first day of preseason testing. Running with drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi — the Italian’s first full F1 season after briefly standing in for Pascal Wehrlein in 2017 — the car sports an almost identical livery to 2018.

Although impossible to read deeply into Monday’s running, Raikkonen set the fifth fastest time of the day and completed an impressive 114 laps.
