Fernando Alonso and Jimmie Johnson enjoyed their much ballyhooed car swap on Monday at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir — learning a lot about the other’s discipline in the process.
The afternoon ended with twin burnouts.
Johnson drove a 2013 Formula 1 McLaren, while Alonso piloted one of Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series machines on the Bahrain road course.
