Caravan owners continue to book staycations in record numbers and Cornwall is one of the most popular destinations in the UK. As summer spots disappear fast it’s worth booking a caravan or motorhome holiday for 2022 without delay. Here’s a list of the best according to Cornwall Live.

Heligan Caravan & Camping Park, near Mevagissey
A five-star caravan and camping park located next door to the world-famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, offering a number of hard-standing gravel pitches for caravans and motorhomes.

Heligan Caravan and Camping Park is also a dog-friendly site and has a small “well-stocked” on-site shop for any supplies needed while staying there.

A few minutes’ drive from the park is the picturesque Cornish harbour and fishing port of Mevagissey

Threthem Mill Touring Park, St Mawes
This five-star, multi-award winning touring park has been described as being the “perfect place” to discover the Roseland Peninsula.

Exclusively for adults only, the park is located on an uncommercialised area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is just three miles from the quaint fishing villages of St Mawes and Portscatho, with easy access to many more locations of interest.

According to its website, the park is currently closed but will reopen on April 1 2022.

Mounts Bay Caravan Park, Marazion
Located within the small historic town of Marazion, home of the iconic St Michael’s Mount, this quiet holiday park is best suited for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful part of west Cornwall.

In the high season months of May until the end of September they accept weekly bookings only and their arrival day is a Saturday.

Marazion also has a good selection of pubs, cafes and galleries and is close to the “Cornish way” cycle route.

Hendra Holiday Park, Newquay
A family-owned park for 49 years, they have 12 fields of spacious touring and camping pitches, well laid out with roads, lighting and water points.
