Kia Sonet with new logo spotted ahead of launch

The first images of the updated Kia Sonet featuring the brand’s new logo have surfaced online. The car is set to debut later this month.

In addition to the new logo, Kia is also expected to rejig the variant line-up. According to reports, there will be two new variants on offer – HTX Petrol DCT and HTX Diesel AT, while the HTK+ Petrol DCT, HTK+ Diesel AT and HTX+ Diesel AT variants will be discontinued.

The HTX trim comes with features such as LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The Sonet will be offered with three engine options. These include a 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP / 115 Nm, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 118 BHP / 172 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel unit producing 99 BHP / 240 Nm.
