KTM India has achieved a new production milestone as the 10,00,000th bike rolled off the assembly line at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant.
KTM began producing its bikes at the Bajaj Auto factory around 12 years ago. The 1,00,000th unit rolled off the assembly line in 2014, and in 2020, the company celebrated the 5,00,000-unit production milestone.
KTM’s manufacturing base in India serves more than 118 countries. Motorcycles manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant, are shipped to Germany, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Norway and the United States, among other countries.
KTM entered the Indian market in 2012 with the Duke before launching the RC 390 in 2014. In 2020, KTM introduced its Adventure range of bikes.
