TVS revives Fiero name; trademark filed

TVS Fiero could be resurrected as a 125cc bike.

TVS has filed a trademark for the ‘Fiero 125’ name, which indicates that the bike maker is reviving the Fiero name.

TVS hasn’t had a 125cc motorcycle in its portfolio for some time now. The company has its presence in the 110cc segment and could be looking to fill the gap between the Star City+ and the Apache RTR Series.

The TVS Fiero was launched in the year 2000 and was pitted against models like the Hero Honda CBZ and Bajaj Pulsar. Given the fact that the original Fiero had a sporty appearance, the new 125cc bike could also borrow a few traits from it.

The TVS Fiero 125 could compete with the Honda SP125, Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon and Hero Glamour.
