Formula 1 live screening: Places in different cities screening F1 races

The 2022 Formula 1 season is just too interesting to sit & watch the races at home.

GTO recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Please share the places screening F1 races in your city. Will be good to plan Team-BHP meets.

The season is just too interesting to watch at home.

Last I’d gone with ChiragM to The Stables @ Andheri. Great place with lots of F1 enthusiasts.

Here’s what BHPian libranof1987 had to say about the matter:

Great idea. It’s good to have/know of dedicated screenings and watch these races together. A bunch of Pune BHPians went to Sphere, Baner for the Season Finale last year and it was immense fun. The entire place was dedicated just for the race screening (race on every screen, and commentary), and every patron was there just for the race.

The noise and cheers when Checo, the Minister of Defence, held off Hamilton and when Max finally overtook Lewis were just terrific.

Given how well the idea worked out, we’re hoping to do this again; will post on the Meets thread.

Here’s what BHPian Shiftlock had to say about the matter:

In Hyderabad, there is a popular sports restaurant and bar called Buffalo Wild Wings (locally known as B-dubs). It is a great place for all sports enthusiasts, they regularly have large screenings for football, cricket and F1 races as well.

Would love to meet up with BHPians based in Hyderabad for any such occasion!

Here’s what BHPian ninjatalli had to say about the matter:

Might be relevant to point out that not all races would be an ideal time to watch in a restaurant.

Race Timings (in order of next races)

  • Australia: 10:30 am
  • Italy: 6:30 pm
  • US: 01:00 am (/Mon)
  • Spain: 6:30 pm
  • Monaco: 6:30 pm
  • Azerbaijan: 4:30 pm
  • Canada: 11:30 pm

and so on…

Any F1 fans in Bangalore, give me a holler. Am game for the ones scheduled on Sunday evenings.

Here’s what BHPian Dippy had to say about the matter:

Stables is screening the Grand Prix at Andheri East but this time the screening is also happening from 10.30 am onwards at the Lord of the Drinks at Lower Parel for the Australian GP.

The Super Car Club Garage at Thane also screens races but there is no screening of the Aussie GP this week.

Link to the Lord of the Drinks screening.

Here’s what BHPian mailbalaji had to say about the matter:

In Chennai, insta handle @f1tamil organizes F1 screening on weekends.

For this Australian GP weekend, there are 2 locations:

  • Mechanics Bar & Kitchen, Nungambakkam (above 21 years)
  • Goddy’s cafe, Nungambakkam (No age restriction)

Bookings are done via DM with the organizers.
